Ceremonies joyful, ceremonies solemn, ceremonies that speak to your soul, ceremonies that have you weeping with the giggles…
Ceremonies should be uplifting and heartwarming. I am a completely relaxed and open-minded person, quick to find the humour in any situation and I love to break tension when things feel a bit too formal and stiff.
However, when we mark rites of passage with a ritual, we are symbolically transforming and should feel changed as a result. That’s sort of the point! So as well as all the fun we will have creating a ceremony that reflects your story, a ceremony with me will always include a moment of reverence - we aren’t at church, we aren’t at the theatre, but we can steal from the pageantry of both institutions to thrill your guests and honour your choices.
Weddings, Civil Partnerships and Vow Renewals - £750
When you choose to marry with me as your celebrant, I will shape your ceremony intuitively around who you are, where you’ve been, and how you love. I come to each couple open-eared and open-hearted, and make approximately a zillion notes on your history, your values, your quirks, and the path you have travelled together. From there, a bespoke ceremony unfolds that feels truthful, personal, and unmistakably yours. Your ceremony can include meaningful rituals, unexpected elements, laughter, stillness, music, storytelling, or moments of shared reflection. It can be held in a grand setting or an intimate corner of the world that feels like home. What matters most is that it feels right for you. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that feels grounded, joyful, and worthy of your commitment.

Naming Ceremonies - £400
Naming ceremonies are deeply moving. They carry all our hope for the future and celebrate the official identity of a person who is loved and cherished. Naming ceremonies can also be a beautiful way to celebrate blended families, adoption, or a person choosing their own name later in life.
These ceremonies bring together biological and logical family members to witness special moments that can include the sharing of hopes for the future, the appointment of guides or mentors, readings, music, or simple rituals that symbolise belonging and love.
Above all, a naming ceremony is the celebration of a person being surrounded by others who vow to protect them, support them, and love them through every stage of life. And most importantly, sometimes I get to cuddle a baby!
Funerals, Celebrations of Life and Memorials - £250
I will help you, carefully and sensitively navigate one last official act of love for the person to whom you must say goodbye. We can take all time we need together to do service to the life of the person who has died, speaking in person as frequently as necesssary to collaborate on getting your ceremony just right.

I have many plans buzzing away for particular ceremonies that should become regular for everyone’s lives. For example, a first menstruation ceremony, a divorce ceremony, a retirement ceremony - many landmark moments in our lives go by unmarked simply because mainstream religions didn’t include them on the list of what’s important.
